Raycharts Inc. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Raycharts platform ("the Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via our identity provider (WorkOS AuthKit). We do not store passwords directly.

Trading Data

When you connect a broker or upload CSV files, we collect your trade history including symbols, entry/exit prices, timestamps, and P&L data. This data is used solely to provide the Service.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the Service. This data is not linked to your trading activity.

Journal & Notes

Any journal entries, notes, mood tracking data, and media you upload are stored securely and are only accessible to you (and anyone you explicitly share notes with).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) generate analytics, reports, and AI-powered insights for your account; (c) process payments and manage your subscription; (d) send essential service communications (account, billing, security); (e) respond to support requests.

4. What We Do NOT Do

We do not: (a) sell, rent, or share your personal data or trading data with third parties for marketing purposes; (b) use your trading data to train AI models beyond your individual account context; (c) place trades or modify your brokerage accounts -- all API connections are read-only; (d) share your data with other users unless you explicitly enable sharing features.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases. Media files are stored via our managed object storage provider. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Authentication uses HttpOnly, SameSite cookies with CSRF protection. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest, regular backups, and access controls.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• WorkOS AuthKit -- Authentication and session management
• Cloudflare -- Hosting and edge delivery for this website
• Payment processor -- Subscription billing (we do not store your full credit card details)
• LLM API provider -- Powers AI chat and insights (your prompts include trading context but no personally identifiable information)
• Groq -- Voice transcription for voice journaling

7. Broker Connections

When you connect a broker via OAuth (e.g., Tradovate), we receive a read-only access token that allows us to fetch your trade history. We never receive or store your broker login credentials. You can disconnect your broker at any time from your account settings, which revokes our access.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for the duration of your paid period. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete all your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access all data we hold about you; (b) export your trading data at any time; (c) request correction of inaccurate data; (d) request deletion of your account and all associated data; (e) opt out of non-essential communications. 10. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (raycharts_session) for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that track you across other websites.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
